3 Perfect Days in Puerto Rico: San Juan, Bio Bay, and Rainforest Private Tours

Your tour begins at the Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, where you will be picked up in a Mercedes. 

Over the course of 4 hours, your VIP driver and personal professional guide will drive you in an A/C-controlled vehicle through Old San Juan’s narrow cobblestone streets. Along the way, you learn valuable information that will help you learn about the city — and us as Puerto Ricans. This covers more ground and takes the hassle out of planning your own itinerary around the city to see its many attractions. 

Visit off-the-beaten path neighborhoods — the real San Juan!

Your guide takes you off the tourist trail and into Miramar and Santurce, where you will see and learn about the Governor Pedro Roselló Convention Center; the Street Art District nestled in El Gandul; the blue-collar community of Tras Talleres; and our famed nightlife district of La Placita, among many other local tips and facts.

After finishing the Santurce portion you will be taken to Piñones, a little beach village that will make you feel as if you are have time traveled to Puerto Rico in the 1960s! Here you get to learn about our Black heritage and try some of Loiza’s world-famous street food.

Sip on a complimentary rum drink on a distillery tour

The finishing touch of this first day will be a visit to Barrilito Rum Distillery where you will get complimentary tickets for the distillery tour and a drink of your choice. This complete tour inside the Puerto Rico distillery is where the local interpreter will show and explain all rum-making steps and process in an unmatched learning experience. 

Enjoy private transportation back to the heart of Old San Juan

Your curated, local San Juan tour ends with private transportation back to the Marriott Resort in the Condado area, where the night is yours to do as you wish.

The second day will take you out of the ordinary and get off the beaten path to visit the tallest statue in America, and then do our Signature Beach Hiking and Rainforest Private VIP Experience.

In this adventure you will be picked at your hotel by your VIP guide and driven all the way to Arecibo to witness the Birth of the New World monument, or how we locals call it “the Columbus Statue.” It is double the size of Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janiero, and exceeds the height of New York's Statue of Liberty by 50 feet!

Do a unique beach hike at Manati

After that you will be driven to Manati’s most famous beach to do our exclusive rock formation hike with some of the most breathtaking views and picture oportunities in all Puerto Rico. The beauty of this hiking adventure is that it can be done as an easy or medium intensity depending on your preferences, but you can also choose to just bath at the beach, relax on the sand or do some snorkeling.

Bathe in the waterfalls of Toro Negro State Rainforest

Next is a stop for lunch (own expense) before a 45-minute drive through the beautiful narrow roads that surround Toro Negro State Rainforest in the township of Ciales. Here is where you will spend up to 90 minutes bathing, taking pictures and admiring one of our finest waterfalls.

At the end of this amazing day of swimming, hiking, and exploring, you are dropped off in the heart of Old San Juan via private transportation.

We are leaving the best and most unique for the last day, when will make you one of the very few, among all the tourists visiting the island to experience the warm and crystal clear waters of Cayo Aurora, best known as Gilligan’s Island!

Before finishing your 100-mile drive — where we cross the central mountain range and then the south plains — you will arrive to Ponce for a short stop to visit it’s iconic city square and learn about it’s history.

You will resume your way to Guanica where you will visit the landing spot for Ponce the Leon when he came to conquer Puerto Rico and also the first US troops when they came release us from Spain and claim the island after buying it as part ot the Treaty of Paris in 1898.

After that you will be driven to San Jacinto, just 7 minutes away, for a 5-minute boat ride to Gilligan’s Island where you have up to 2.5 hours to discover this piece of paradise snorkeling, swimming, or just relaxing in it’s tuquiose-tinged waters.

After that your guide will be transport you to Lajas where another chartered boat awaits to take you to through the warm Caribbean Sea waters of La Parguera to Papayo Bay, home to the enchanted bioluminescent waters. Once you reach the bay, dive in and discover the surreal effect of the trillions of dinoflagellates surrounding you. It's an enchanting light show before heading back to the dock to drive back to your hotel with memories that will last forever.
